 1. Service Availability
Currently, Grofee operates exclusively in Bangalore. All orders within our serviceable zones are eligible for free shipping as part of our launch offering.Â
- Delivery Method
Orders may be delivered either by:
- Grofee’s in-house delivery personnel, or
- Trusted third-party delivery service providers partnered with us.
We ensure all delivery partners are briefed on proper handling and timely delivery practices to maintain the quality and integrity of your order. However, please note that Grofee does not have direct control over the operations, timelines, or conduct of third-party delivery personnel, and any delays or service issues arising from their end are beyond our immediate control. We nonetheless work closely with our partners to resolve such matters promptly and ensure a satisfactory delivery experience.Â
- Delivery Timelines
We aim to provide same-day delivery for all orders placed before the cut-off time (as indicated on the product page or during checkout).
However, in the event of unforeseen delays due to operational constraints, extreme weather, or logistical challenges, we will notify you at the earliest via SMS, call, or email.Â
- Customer Communication
Our delivery partner will attempt to contact you on the mobile number provided at checkout. Please ensure that your contact number is active and reachable during the estimated delivery window.Â
- If You Are Unavailable
If the delivery partner is unable to reach you or you are unavailable at the specified address:
- The meal kit will be left safely at your doorstep, and you will be notified accordingly.
- In case of deliveries to offices or commercial locations, the delivery partner will leave the package at the main reception, gate, or lobby area, as appropriate.
We urge you to be available or coordinate timely responses during the expected delivery time to avoid any inconvenience.Â
- Payment and Safety
To ensure the safety of both our customers and delivery personnel, we encourage you to use digital payment methods (UPI, card, wallets) while placing your order.
This helps minimize contact, streamline deliveries, and reduce potential delays or complications.
Cash on Delivery (COD) is not currently available; however, we may introduce this option in the future based on our evolving logistics capabilities.Â
- Road Safety and Delivery Etiquette
We strongly advise our delivery personnel to strictly follow all traffic rules and prioritize their own safety and the safety of others on the road.
We kindly request customers to avoid pressuring or rushing delivery partners, especially while they are en route. At Grofee, we already aim to deliver your food as early and as fresh as possible—ensuring both timely service and a great experience.
